1. We celebrated my Future Sister’s Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party back in NJ and Philly. The shower turned out great and of course the bride to be was glowing. So much pressure since some day she may be the only Shubra left once the twins get married.

Have you ever been to the “Howl at the Moon Dueling Piano Bar”? If you haven’t it’s a great time! We ended up there all night singing along and dancing. We also must have counted at least 15 other Bachelorette parties celebrating that night as well. It’s the place to be!

2. I can not believe it! My little Twins are going to be 24 tomorrow! Stop having birthday’s… it makes me feel old! These two have grown so much over the past year. I’m just so proud of them coming into their own… they are just amazing young ladies and I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Happy 24th Birthday!

4. Winston gave us a scare this past weekend. He was acting “Off”. He was turning and not sitting still at night. Panting A LOT. and just not himself. We worried like “parents” do and looked up symptoms and prayed that we wouldn’t need to take him to the vet the next day. That night we let him sleep in his room… aka.. the guest room and the next morning he was back to himself! I’m not sure if he was dehydrated or if maybe when we were playing soccer he hit his head. Who knows. We are just so happy to have him acting himself again.

5. Chicken update: The chicks are almost full grown! I have never raised chicks from the hen hatching so it’s been a little disappointing. They imprinted to her, as they should have, and wanted NOTHING to do with me. How dare they! I have been working with the flock a little more in making sure to feed them specialty items. Fruit & extra veggies from the garden. When I feed I make sure they know I’m the one gifting it to them and try to throw pieces closer and closer to me every time. I think they are gaining my trust. Whenever they see me with a snack they coming running.

On that note: If you haven’t seen a chicken or rooster run before it is the funniest thing. They can’t help but move their heads back and forth and they lift their legs like they are running high knees at a track practice. Cracks me up every time.

Once I can tell them apart they will officially be named Patsy & Martina to complete our little country gang.

{Dolly, Loretta, Reba, and Rocky}

Have a great weekend!
